It Is Finished.
As of Friday, I am on terminal leave from the US Navy. I no longer have a security clearance - well - I no longer have a "need-to-know" which is functionally the same thing, and I will never have to put on a uniform ever again. Or shave, really, which is nice.
This week will be spent in pursuit of doing absolutely nothing, and getting ready for our impending move to Murfreesboro, TN. I bought a house, have been accepted to MTSU, and even have a neurotic dog waiting for our arrival.
It's a strange feeling, being unemployed. Hopefully there will be no hobo breakfasts under a bridge in my near future.
